Dreams that are thoughts

I seem to wake up sometimes for a minute or two (not long at all) and then fall back asleap. It seems like what ever i think about before hand ends up slideing directly into a dream. I think for a bit then i start to dream. Any idea of what is going on?

Yeah, we all have brief awakenings when we sleep (for a minute or two), it's just we usually don't remember them, unless you make a consious effort too. You're just re-entering REM sleep. This is a good way to become lucid, because you can use the MILD or WILD at this point to induce luciditity.
