Hey new here! ? about sp.

I have been suffering with this thing for 6 years now. I just found out that i have sp, Im just really happy its just not me that has this. First time i got it. It scared the hell out of me thats when i was 15. But now when i do get i know how to stop it, i used to open my eyes and saw some scary stuff, now i just let my eyes keep close and its gone in like 3 seconds.

So my ? is. can you get rid of this?

      to Dreamviews!

I'm not sure about getting rid of SP, maybe someone else can help you with that. However, you can try WILDing; if you get into SP easily, then WILD should be easy for you.

oh man, ive had SP jus regularly without trying at least 2 or 3 times. I was also really scared of what just happened. It ended up me staying up for the whole night holding it off. You must have some incredible stress and sleep deprivation to have it regularly like that!

Haha, you can't "have" SP. Its not a disorder or anything irregular. We all go through it at night, all of us. We're just normally not conscious enough to remember it. Sleep Paralysis is simply the brain sending a chemical through our body to stop us from acting out our dreams physically.

The things that you may see or hear are Hypnogogic Imagery and Sounds. Another normal thing that once again happens but we don't normally remember.

thats true, but not many ppl even acknowledge that it exists when they sleep so its not something thats out of the ordinary, its just that not many people experience it like me and vikings28 did.

Edit: that is unintentionally and unconscious of what it was

You have to remember it's all in your head.

During SP (the one time I got it) I made anything scary or just plain evil go away by imagining a huge white light that destroyed anything that wished me harm. Kinda weird, but it worked.
