I have been suffering with this thing for 6 years now. I just found out that i have sp, Im just really happy its just not me that has this. First time i got it. It scared the hell out of me thats when i was 15. But now when i do get i know how to stop it, i used to open my eyes and saw some scary stuff, now i just let my eyes keep close and its gone in like 3 seconds. |

oh man, ive had SP jus regularly without trying at least 2 or 3 times. I was also really scared of what just happened. It ended up me staying up for the whole night holding it off. You must have some incredible stress and sleep deprivation to have it regularly like that! |

Haha, you can't "have" SP. Its not a disorder or anything irregular. We all go through it at night, all of us. We're just normally not conscious enough to remember it. Sleep Paralysis is simply the brain sending a chemical through our body to stop us from acting out our dreams physically. |

thats true, but not many ppl even acknowledge that it exists when they sleep so its not something thats out of the ordinary, its just that not many people experience it like me and vikings28 did. |

You have to remember it's all in your head. |
