Thread: What do I do from here.

I get SP almost every night without even trying. I usually just wake up in the middle of the night, and It happens almost instantly. After I get SP, how do I turn it into a dream? After Sp happens, I usually get an OBE, which I am not trying to get at all. I want to dream!

I'm no expert, but from what I've read you should look for Hypnogagic Imagery and it should pull you into a dream after awhile... Otherwise, you could try rolling your dream body into a dream.

Have you tried daydreaming while in SP? Sometimes your imagination can jumpstart the dream.

Here's another thought, while you are in SP, most of your senses are cut off from the outside world. How do you know that you are not already in a lucid dream? Have you tried to sit up or open your eyes and change the scenery from that of your bedroom?

Sounds like you're trying DEILD. Just visualize a scene, or even better, rerun the dream that you just had. You say you're doing ODE? Well... science will tell you that that is just a lucid dream in which you aren't the main character. Do a reality check when you leave your body, in these forums it's just a dream. There is another forum for OBE's for those who believe in it.
