      sharing a problem

so lately i've been having dreams in which i've felt guilty. for instance i steal things in the dreams and later feel totally overwhelmed with guilt. it's weird... furthermore these dreams hit early in the night... in my later REM periods i've been having very satisfying dreams. i'll wake up and feel good about myself... i don't know why but they just put me in a positive mood... then i start to recall the dreams from earlier in the night and i get to wondering what it could mean. the combination of burdening and empowering dreams is setting my mind asunder.

it's been 4 nights in a row so far with the same results.

any thoughts? i'm not really looking for a "cure" more than i'm looking for a reason. i think the guilt could be brought on by my parents... they want so much for me but i'm not willing to live how they want me to... so i'm pretty sure that's where the guilt is coming from... but the combination of the guilt and the nirvana is freaky deaky.

i'll eat your heart, because it is bitter, and because it is your heart.

Ok I am not sure if this is true or not but someone once said that a normal person has negative dreams when they first go to sleep and then as the night goes on they get better and better. Then it was like depressed people start off with negative dreams that get worse and worse as the night goes on.

I never really noticed that but then I don't normally remeber any dreams from like the first 2 dream cycles so maybe I miss them.

You would feel guilty if you did any of these things while awake, right?

Perhaps early in the night, you conscience is still active enough to make you feel remorse for these things.

I've found it a much more satisfying experience if I try to live my dream life according to the morals I have while awake. Still have lots of fun, but I do not feel any guilt.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...
