      discourged :(

I found out about lucid dreaming and this site about 2months ago i think. I started keeping a lucid dream. Did reality checks barely and recognized some dream signs.

I finally had a semi lucid dream. Where I knew i was dreaming and i did things controlling it but it wasnt what I wanted to do necessarily. I Turned my finger into a whip and whiped the walls lol.

After that i havnt been able to even remember my dreams. It's extremely frustrating that i cant even remember my dreams for no reason.

I dont know what to do ;(

Aww! Don't feel discouraged. We all run into these sorts of problems. I'd recommend looking around at all the different tutorials and trying out techniques that appeal to you the most. Be patient with them though - often times you have to try a technique for several nights straight to see if it works.

Or you might want to focus on improving your recall for a while. If you just focus on that, not only will you remember a bunch of cool dreams that might make up for lack of LDs, but you very well might have a LD out of the blue just because you've taken the stress off of yourself!

Well, whatever you do, don't give up.. just remember how amazing lucid dreams can be.. and if you stick at it, you will succeed, you will have amazing and vivid dreams and you'll be so glad you didn't give up. Really the worst thing you could do would be to just forget about lucid dreaming and end up never having one.

And if you're having trouble maximising your control, you could always take a look here: http://dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=38954

It's BillyBob's awesome dream control tutorial.. I think even just reading about these things can sometimes be enough to reinspire you.

      End the dry spell!

No need to get discouraged man, there are probably some outside factors keeping you from remembering your dreams, just try to wake up on your own time as much as possible, and keep dreaming in your mind as much as you can, you'll be back on your feet in no time.
The journey is usually more rewarding than reaching the destination.

      -Keep it real

I had exactly the same problem. I use to remember up to 4 dreams for a night. and then i lost it all... so ppl from DV advised me to take a break. (not to think about dreams for some time) so that's what i did. maybe 1 month later i tried again to recall my dreams. And i was proud of the result. i could recall dreams again. and dream signs and all that. from that time i had 6 LD!!! Thanks DV! so all i can say is: take a break for a few weeks. and make sure u're not stressed. ah and also few things i found out about is that if i get too late in bed and i dont get enough sleep my recall is terrible. also, if i dont keep the same hour of getting to bed like for example 10pm. i find it harder to recall my dreams. soo try these. it might help.
