Cool Lucid dreams, how you move in them or how they move around you

sometimes your lucid and you think this is a dream it's harder to run and then you run slow, but if you just think Im running like im on a rollercoaster you will run fast, or the background will move quickly, see your not really running in dreams and you never actually move in dreams it's just what you see changes so much that it looks like real life as thats the only way your subconsious views the world. the background is just going faster. along with scenes changing !!

I'm going to have to agree, i've never really seen myself run in dreams before , unless I'm in 3rd person. Usually only the background moves...Interesting
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

nothing really moves in Lucid dreams they just change, since thats how your subconsious perceives the waking world. Technically you dont walk, run or fly, you just change the scene around you, this is the key in controling your dreams since you control the scene. In flying all you do is make the backgroun look like a sky from a birds eye view and change the scene, since there is no such thing as movement in lucidity. You only feel the wind on your face since you associate feelings with the way the scene changes, hence if your "flying" or making the background change to what you think flying is, you'll also simultaneously feel the "wind" on your face but thats just your feelings reacting to the scene, basically your telling yourself if I was flying how would it feel since it looks like Im soaring through the sky like a bird. This thread will proabbly change everyones theory on lucid dreaming since Ive managed to break it down for people a lil better they'll have a greater outlook on dream control.

Lucid Dreams-The flip book of your soul

it feels funny cuz your not really running, you just havent mastered control the dream to where everything is nsync, the feeling of running with the scene changing looking like its moving when its not, like one of those flip books with the stick figure drawn on it, if you flip it slow he will look like hes running slow or it is hard for him to run with pauses in between, that is exactly what lucid dreams are, pages of a flip book put together from all the pages store in your memory file cabinet. Now if you flip the book fast without losing a page he will run in sequence flawlessly.
