have you ever met dead people during LD?

I saw and got to hold my dog that had passed on in a lucid dream.. but so far I've not tried to see any people who've passed.

I've met plenty of "dead relatives" in my LDs, but when I asked one "Are you my real father?" it replied "No".

I have met and interacted with a dream character who seemed by all appearances and mannerisms to be my late mother-in-law in a lucid - twice in the same night, in two different dreams. I have had many experiences with late friends and relatives in normal dreams, of course... some of them pretty wild. I do not go looking for them in lucid dreams.

Ive seen childhood friends that have passed in my dreams, almost all of them. But in the dream I wasn't Lucid so they were alive in the dream like they never died.

Don't know if this is the same... Or if it's lucid dreaming... But three times now I have dreamt about a family get together at my grandmother's (which did happen in real life) I am on the outside looking in to the scene and it's exactly like it happened (for example - we're all sitting at the table eating and we're having the same conversation that actually occured) but the only difference is that in the door way (or somewhere in the room) is standing my deceased grandfather. He looks at me (not the me at the table IN the dream - but the me looking in on the dream) and he nods his head in approval or smiles or something to show me that he's happy we're all content. Don't know what to think of those three dreams.

Considering how vivid lucid dreams are, I think this would be a real mind f*ck. I definitely would not seek them out.
