sounds like either astral projection, or sleep paralysis, or maybe even a little bit of both |

First of all Im back, been very busy, but something strange happened early this morning. I was trying to do that dream incubation, when things got strange... first I was seeing what was a dream, but it felt as if I was still in bed, like two places at once, then I decided to do a reality check and said out loud that I was dreaming, when suddenly, there were wierd/very fast vibrations, kinda rough ones mostly in my head and was kind of weaker than through the rest of my body, I freaked out, and tried to move, but still felt as if I was in a dream. When I was trying to pinch my nose and breathe, my hand did not find a face, as If my hand went right through. But it all eventually collapsed and I woke up. What was this mess? Im still pretty new at this. |

It sounds like you may have had an OBE. After we try to reenter the body after an out of body experience you can get stuck in SP or sleep paralysis which is what the vibrations were and it can be hard to breathe. |

I don't know anything about astral projection or out of body experiences, but to me that sounds like sleep paralysis and hypnogogic stuff. Fairly normal for being awair when you are falling asleep. I've had several experiences like this, including the not being able to move, the vibrations, speaking out loud, feeling like I'm in two places at once, and not being able to move my body. |

Well astral projection and OBE's involve your spiritual body (or astral body) leaving your physical body. It is said we are made up of a physical and non physical self. Its just as the names explain your either projecting your astral self out of the body or your having an OUT OF BODY experience. Im not sure the exact differences i think actually they might just be different names for the same thing. Hope it helped |
