      What is this considered?

I've had some experiences where after waking up, I lie in my bed for what seems to be an hour and somewhere I fall asleep and have a dream that I'm lying in the exact same position in my bed. I will then get up to get a drink and after seeing no/a mutilated/someone else's faces in the mirror I figure out that I'm dreaming and continue on a lucid dream. I was curious to wether this was considered a WILD, since I don't seem to loose consciousness but I don't experience SP, HI or vibrations or it it considered a DILD since I figure out that I'm dreaming from the mirror

Doing a WILD means that you're consciously entering into your dreamstate. You know you're dreaming the whole time. If you didn't know you were dreaming until you looked into the (freaking HORRIFYING) mirror, that's a DILD.

Plus during a WILD session you always feel SP and HI. You didn't because you fell asleep.

      Good luck next time?

I had a similar story...and no one could really give me an answer....but because there was a phase where I couldnt remember how I ended up in my dream-bed I thought it a DILD. A WILD has constant consciousness...you may have dreamed about lying in bed

but I was always under the impression that SP and HI varies from person to person, and attempt to attempt. Just because you dont feel this doesnt mean it wasn't a WILD in your future attempts

thanks for your replies. Since I've moved (a few weeks ago) this has only happened once and I got out of my bed in my old room so I instantly knew without needing that damn mirror.

That's called a false awakening. And when you recognized dream sign, you ended up turning it into a DILD.

No dream goals at the moment...just flying and letting stuff happen is kinda fun, and it's hard to motivate myself to try LDing lately.

I thought for a false awaken you had to have a dream before and you actually had to awaken
