Thread: Soaring in the sky, but not above the roof tops..

I was around a secptic, my dad and one other. So I just had to brag, and showed him I could soar in the magnetic field of earth, using my own..
(Bad move BTW but that is another telling.)

Anyways, I went ahead and did it, to shut his mout..

First off a hillside, going down. But, then I could only like "glide", not back up hill... (Here I recall thinking; Oh my, if I cannot fly back up, I will have a long walk!)

Funny sensation. And then later, I got of from the ground, but could not get higher than the roof toops, just one time I reallt went for it, cause of nag, but then I was heading twords some cables so I had to "abort" and drifted back down..

Anyways, I am beginning to think that other "people" in your dream, can affect to some exctent if allowed to, thus limiting oneself indirectly..

Try running down the hill a little bit and starting to glide, then turning and flapping your arms like a bird. I have a hard time starting to fly up a hill, but once I'm already airborne it's rally easy.

I wonder why flying can be so illusive. I was once flying in a dream, and decided to fly straight up in the air for the first time. I got maybe 40 feet up, and black words appeared in the sky saying "ceiling reached, flying over", and i floated back to the ground, and couldnt fly anymore.

WTF? That's really weird, kinda funny though too.

Sort of similar, I had been having problems flying in lucid dreams last year. I could only get a few inches to a few feet off the ground.

In one lucid I came into my house and my mother was sitting there. I kicked her out, quite rudely, and was able to fly afterward. Perhaps asserting yourself over your parent in the dream will help you to fly better.

That is usually how I do it.. I do not try.. I do.. (Some do the trying, instead of the doing.)

Either way..

I am an expert at this, but, occasionally stuff like this happens..

It is starting to make a pattern, though.
