Cherry Beach Dream

I had a very vivid dream recently, with interesting sybolism in it. Climbing over a sand dune, I found myself on a small cove, lined with cherry trees. The fruit was dropping from the trees onto the sand and the surf was washing over them and rinsing them off. I picked several up and ate them - very tasty. I've been trying to think about what cherrie mean to me...I've never really considered the personal symbolism of them before. The only thing I've come up with so far is something along the lines of 'bounty' or the concept of fruition, perhaps on a material or monetary level. (That may come from the fact that I am currently looking for a new job). Anyone have thoughts about cherries? Typically my dreams of the surf involve big waves engulfing me or a feeling of being out of control, but this dream, the ocean seemed calm. -Jessica Marie

Nice dream! I can easily visualize it, and it seemed great Personal symbolism is a tricky thing, as only you can truly understand it. Think of a day (or week) before the dream. Did anything significant happen?
