Thread: Is this my DG?

Okay,so I've been slacking recently as far as lucid dreams go....because of school and stuff. But recently I've been having extremely vivid LDs without evn trying. Every time I haveone I become lucid the same way, which is looking at something weird and saying "this is impossible!" or "that was not possible!". After saying this my dad is always standing there smiling at me, and he says things like "now you're getting it" or "okay so your lucid, now what?", and basically when he speaks to me, lucidity kicks in. In my latest lucid, last night, somebody walked through my sliding glassdoor and I said "that's impossible" and looked at my dad, who was smiling. Then he laughed for a good 30 seconds, in which time I became lucid. Then he said..." now you've mastered it, and I'm no longer needed. But don't worry, I'll be here if you ever need me" in a voice deeper than his is in reality. Does this mean anything to anyone and is my dad possibly my dream guide? If it means nothing, then oh well it's still pretty cool to have my dad let me know im lucid , but any replies would be appreciated.

Sounds like a DG to me. You created him, you decide.

true that. I'll see if he shows up in my next lucid, and ask him... too bad if it is though. I always wanted my DG to be some random dude or hot chick.. not my dad hehe.

I've never had a lucid, but that sounds like it is. That's actually somewhat interesting. Don't get too upset about that random dude/hot chick dream guide thing.

The thing about dream guides, is that they'll proabably say anything. When you ask if he's your dream guide, whatever you want or think he'll say is what he'll say. At least, thats what i think...
