Thread: Why do you lucid dream?

Might of been posted before, but:

Lets hear it, why did you decide to take up lucid dreaming?

Please only intelligent replies, not just '2 liek have lucid sexzorz'.

I chose to because I down right hate sleeping. I think its a waste of time, so I thought lucid dreaming would be a cool way to fill the time. I eventually want to create an alternate life in my LD's, like I can sort of go back to my life every night and continue it from where I left of the previous night (instead of just random LD's).

EDIT: I understand that some people have had LD's all their lives without doing anything. This is aimed at the others who haven't been gifted as such, but you can post here too.
