why am dumb in my dreams?

so last night i had this dream, i was in africa safari or somethin (shoulda realized it was a dream), it was real weird cuz me and a friend was bein chased by a warthog (shoulda realized it was a dream), so we climbed this platform to a hut to get away from it. we were just shootin the shit and i asked him if he knew what lucid dreamin was and explained it all to him, and i didnt even get lucid ! man, sometimes i dunno, maybe my brain wasnt meant to lucid dream...

It pretty much isn't meant to LD. We're defying the subconcious by becoming lucid. The reason you're illogical is that the logic central of the brain (also the central of our personality or conciousness) shuts down. The way DILD works is that the habit central doesn't turn off so by habit the cerebreal cortex (logic central) turns back on. Just like any habit it needs to be deeply in-set or it will only work some times. Hope that made sense to you.

Hey, it happens to all of us! I usually kick myself every morning. Last night, I had no lucid dreams, but while I was lying in bed this morning remembering my dreams and trying to get motivated to get up, I counted about 5 dreamsigns in the dream I had just before awakening! Grrr.....

Its always bad when you talk about lucid dreams and you don't notice. I never done that before but I have done other stupid stuff in dreams to make up for it heh.

Yes It does happen! I had a dream once where I said to myself "Wouldn't it be cool if this was a lucid dream?!?!" Hehe I don't remeber anything after that but i am most sure i did not become lucid that night. It will happen. In the mean time enjoy your regular dreams!!!

In a recent normal dream, I noticed a guy was reading a book about LDs, and we started talking about reality checks. Too bad I was too STOOOOPID to do one in the dream!

In a dream my friend asked me if this was a dream, and I laughed at him. I was kicking myself in the morning!

Wow, this is EXACTLY what I have. I dream about things that are SO illogical and yet it seems normal :s. Most of the times I even forget to do a reality check.

Like mentioned before - completely normal.
I was flown in a jet with my boss as the pilot. And I thought it was completely normal... go figure...

I have no problem. It's impossible for me to be more dumb in my dreams than I am in real life (setting fire to a peice of paper in front of a teacher, wow so not stupid!)
