Can you recommend good CD's and Books

      Hi there,

Can anyone recommend any audio CD's and books which will help me to lucid dream for an hour or so throughout the day. There is so much available online, it is hard to know which products really work and which ones are just cheap rip-offs. I would really appreciate your help

Roses and Rivers, a definate must read for all those interested in lucid dreaming is Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge.

Below is a previous post I'd written regarding the books that I've read that have to do with lucid dreaming.

Most I read years ago and could not quote line nor verse.. but I get something out of every book I've read and I personally don't regret purchasing any of them.

Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge
The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
Control Your Dreams by Jayne Gackenbach & Jane Bosveld
Stop Sleeping Through Your Dreams by Charles McPhee
Mutual Dreaming by Linda Lane Magallon
Creative Dreaming by Patricia Garfield, Ph.d
Pathway to Ecstacy - The Way of the Dream Mandela by Patricia Garfield, Ph.d
Out the In Door - New Techniques in Lucid Dreaming by Michael Szul
Lucid Dreaming in 30 Days by Keith Harary, Ph.d and Pamela Weintraub
The Lucid Dreamer by Malcom Godwin

I also recommend that you visit Amazon.com and read the comments or visit your library/bookstore to determine if a book is for you before purchasing.

      Hope this helps!

I think the most interesting book I've ever read on dreaming was

Conscious Dreaming: A Spiritual Path for Everday Life by Robert Moss,

although it really didn't give instructions on how to have a lucid dream other than using Dream Reentry while listening to Shaman Drumming music which has never worked for me, it was the most interesting book I've ever read on dreaming, as it had lots of examples on how people have learned to listen to their dreams to change their lives.

Charles Vald. Hypnosis for Lucid Dreaming. It's very good but i can't get it to work because i am crap at getting hypnotized, you get to a point where Charles says i will now let you enjoy your lucid dream and i am like uh i'm not lucid. He asks you to visualise your dream which is great but i can't make the dream come alive. (you also get a remote control like in Click) The first track is an intro to lucid dreaming, the second is a minute preparation of ocean waves, and the third and fourth are induction tracks.

I really want someone to say it was successful for them and how they done it because it would be great for afternoon lucids and to be able to choose your own dream. (i read the reviews and they all said it was great and easy)

i think this cd would suit people who are good at Wilds.
