Well, I went into my room at 4:55 today for one of my first WILD attempts in a while...
Before I closed my eyes to attempt it, I told myself I would awake in one hour for 5:55 ( some auto suggestion )
I laid down comfortably , closed my eyes, and started to slow my breathing and take deeper breathes and longer exhales..
With time I could feel my body slowly numb itself, and for some time it was actually a little painful to keep so still, and it felt like my fingers were bending backwards on the joints..
With more time my body grew much more lighter, and more comfortable, at some times it almost felt like it was floating, and at other times sinking into the bed,
At one point, the hypnagogic imagery became very intense, and I was watching in my minds eye as I was floating through some sort of space with huge cubes rotating around me, It was very vivid and intense , and I could feel my pulse rate quicken, I could tell this imagery was not created by my thinking mind, but it seemed to create itself, and I was just a witness to it..
At some points, I could feel my whole mind expand, around the crown chakra energy centre, what before was tight on itself, just expanded many times as if changing from a small classroom, to a large auditorium..
The shame is all these feelings eventually faded, and my body was just calm and comfortable,
I opened my eyes, sat up , looked at the clock and it was 5:56..
If I keep practicing this, will I become able to enter a concious dream state from this? And how do I keep the floating feeling and expansion of the mind from fading?
anyways, my experience
Namaste
