      Problem with WILD

      Hey guys,

Okay, I've figured out one thing: that the closest I get to a WILD happens in the middle of the day, like during a nap. I lay down and in minutes feel vibrations, heaviness, tingling sensations, all that.. and I end up just falling asleep! I can't stay conscious.. does anyone have a trick they do that helps?

Same thing here. I've only managed to do even that maybe three times due to getting bored, falling asleep early, or having circulation cut off to a limb and deciding not to try again. At since I'm at the same level I can't really help, but I too would like some.

This morning, as I posted, I had the best, and longest 45 min. lucid dream from a WILD. I did it in the morning about 30 minutes after waking up. I think the key is to wake up early, stay up for a bit, thinking about dreaming all the while and then go back to sleep thinking of lucid dreaming. Maybe some reality checks while your awake will help. Just relax, and feel your body get pumped full of that chemical that helps you sleep(just a theory, but I'm pretty sure there's some natural drug that goes through the body. I feel it every morning and when Im slipping into a dream). When I did it this morning, I didn't actually stay concious entering the dream(though I have before), I woke up on a couch, in a dream world, and realized as I stood up that I was dreaming.

The best advice I could give, is just keep trying! I'm no expert. This is just what helps me.

      Music as help

      Hi
I´m not very experienced with LD but I have a tip that you might find interessting enough to try.

Sometime in the afternoons i lay down and take on my headphones (I usually play soft techno becase of all the strange sounds there is too focus on). Then I just try to listen to the music without thinking. The music seems to draw up a scenery on my eyelids that becomes more and moore vivid and soon I find myself in some strange place between sleeping and beeing awake. If I have the right volyme on my walkman it keeps me from falling asleep and I can stay in this awesome state for quite a while. One thing though... I have never maneged to controll the scenery but I hope I will soon.
      I took the red pill.

I get to the hipnotic imagery part every time I go to sleep, sometimes though it's really small and not a full scene, just some small weird stuff more often than not dinosaurs

Yes... but I've typed this sooo many times... I'm going to type up a tutorial.
Basically it involves using sleep hypnosis methods to get past the hard bit. And while you're about it you can hypnotize yourself to be less resistant to lucid dreams.

If you really really want more info right now, please say so...
