Stable picture

Have you been thinking about how long can you keep looking at a picture in front of you before it starts fading away or changing into another place? Could it be 68 second and below? I've had an experience today, very long vivid lucid and I was looking at some picture for like a minute and then I got 68 as my answer to how long it is possible to stare at it. Hmm, nevermind.

Uhh. It can be as long or as short as you want. I find that it's usually hard for faces to remain stable in my dreams. Actually, I bet that's because people's faces are the only things that I would stare at for a prolonged period of time. I'm sure that if I stared at a tree for a long period of time in a dream, it would be all wobbly too!

Of course! I live in my dreams 22 hours a day so it's not a problem. And I'm a God, too. Everything makes perfect sense. Pleased to meet you.

Uhh. It can be as long or as short as you want. I find that it's usually hard for faces to remain stable in my dreams. Actually, I bet that's because people's faces are the only things that I would stare at for a prolonged period of time. I'm sure that if I stared at a tree for a long period of time in a dream, it would be all wobbly too! Faces remain stable perfectly easy for me. Thse are the easiest for me.

Uhh. It can be as long or as short as you want. And are you sure we are talking about the same thing? I'm talking about vivid imagery in lucid dreams. You can't stare at one point for as long as you want. Even if we are Gods, Lol.

Whoaaa hahaha you just posted three times in a row! I thought you were three different people at first and got really confused. Yah "as long as you want" is probably the ideal case, right? But the time does vary quite a bit. You said in your first post that you stare at something and then it fades or changes. That's what reminded me of faces changing if I stare at them. Sometimes they don't though, it all depends on the clarity of my dream.
