Was LaBerge's Book More Helpful Than Dreamviews?

Did that book help you more than dreamviews? I'm not really in the mood to read through a book (My "to read" list is already too big) and I already read through the tutorials and continously read through the forums. Is this all the info I need or is there more?

Firstly, that book won't take you long to read at all, and it's also quite entertaining what with all the examples of LDs he has in there.

In all honesty, the book helped me more than DV... maybe because of its conciseness.. it's organization.. I also know that during the few days that I was reading the book, I had a LD every night just from reading it!

LaBerge's book was my first introduction to the world of lucid dreaming, and I read it so many times as a youngster that I basically memorized it. It was extremely helpful at the time and reading it resulted in many lucid dreams during that period of my life.

Dreamviews is a wonderful collection of techniques, some of which are taken directly from LaBerge's methods and is a great resource. The real strength in Dreamviews though is the community. Having an online community to discuss LD techniques, experiences, etc. was something that I never imagined I would be able to enjoy back when I was a kid. Reading and creating posts here every week definitely keeps my mind thinking about LDs when otherwise it might be distracted by other things.

That said, I would recommend picking up a copy of LaBerge's book if you can.

They're both great but the book is honestly one of the most inspiring reads on lucid dreaming. Like others have said, I had many of my first LDs while reading that book... It's a great foundation for understanding lucid dreams while DV takes it to the next step with discussion about the topic.

It definitely would be worthwhile to pick it up
