Lucidity techniques when it takes a while to fall asleep

Anyone know any good techniques for people who take a long time to get back to sleep after waking up during the night? I know WILD seems to work best for those who can fall back to sleep quickly. Do I really have to 'affirm' I want an LD for an hour or so it may take to fall back to sleep?

DILD and DEILDs would be good for you. They are what I use the most and it takes me a while to get to sleep.

Ninja, for some reason deild came to my mind too, but you fall back to sleep immediatly. Dreamflow, if you wake up and don't move, can you fall back asleep quikly. If you can you should try deild. Also how long does it take you to fall asleep. Like ninja said, dild is good too. You may also want to find a way to fall asleep faster.

      ^Probably

Most of the time it only takes a while to get to sleep initially, during a DEILD you don't wake up fully so it shouldn't take any time to get there.

MILD can work whatever length of time it takes you to fall asleep, it might even help you fall asleep quicker since you are just concentrating on lucid dreaming and nothing else

Everything makes sense once you stop thinking about it

Yeah it's kinda weird. It takes me an hour to get back to sleep if I wake up fully. If I stay concentrated though, I can usually get a WILD but recently it has been hard to stay concentrated for so long.
