In different homes.

I spent the weekend in Alabama and just returned home 2 hours ago. When I was there however my dream recall was diminished. I spent three nights there and didn't remember one dream. Is this common to have considerably worse dream recall in different homes or wherever? Just curious.

I've only heard of sleeping somewhere else improving dream recall and lucidity.

Vegan, I could see recall suffering if you didn't feel safe/secure or if you were anxious or afraid of being disturbed in the new environment.. but like Webmaster said, often dream recall improves and lucidity is easier when you change your sleeping location.

For me it seems if I am in a different location I have better recal, and more lucidity...

Same here, when I went to Tennessee for a few days my recall practically vanished. I think mine disappeared because I was totallly wiped out by the end of the day and slept really hard.

I switch between school and home a few times a year, and I've recently moved to a new house back home. I noticed my dream recall has diminished recently, so I'm pretty certain that sleeping in a different place affects dream recall.

Yeah my recall and lucidity is fine now, I did get lazy with my WBTB's... I really don't know though.

When your sleeping some were else they comfort of your bed changes. I don't know if the more uncomfortable the more dreams you remember because your more awake when sleeping, or more comfortable because you get better sleep.

When I moved a few months ago my dream recall and WBTB MILDs went back to square one because my sleeping patterns were completely screwed up
