      My WILD attempt, help!

Last night I attempted a WILD. I tryed it right when I was going to bed, not after 5 hours of sleep. I first started breathing; in 1, out, in 2, out, in 3, etc.
I stopped this after a while and just layed there. Then I almost fell int sleep, but I realized how crazy my body felt. I got a little excited, but just layed there and felt these crazy feelings, hard to explain. Then after awhile I got to tired and rolled over and went to sleep. Is this whats sapose to happen? Please comment. Sorry this is typed so poorly.

It's possible to do a WILD before going to sleep, but it is much more difficult. And the result isn't very rewarding, you get a non-vivid short LD.

To answer your question, yes, that's supposed to happen. But like I said, you're better off after 4-6 hours of sleep.

Closest I ever got to WILD was last Sunday night, also right before I fell asleep. I heard a piece of wood hit the floor, clear as day. I still felt really awake and actually wondered if a board had fallen in the basement, but it sounded like it was right next to the bed. I kept listening for more stuff and trying to count, and I heard a few more things, but then don't remember anything.
In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald

You aren't meant to do WILD's before you've already been asleep!

I find that even 1 hour and a half after waking I can still nod off and have a WILD (At work unfortunately)

I know I shouldn't, and usually I try to WILD after 4-6 hours of sleep. This just kind of spontaneously happened from a half-hearted attempt. Go figure.

Hmmm, u should have done a nose plug RC, because u were probably already in a dream when u heard the wood. And you went back to sleep in your dream...
So thats why u think nothing happened.
When you feel like something weird happens while your laying in a bed and it seems so life like, you are probably dreaming.

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
