      Remembering Lucid Dreams

      Hey,

I was just wondering if when you guys have a lucid dream and wake up in the morning does the memory of the lucid dream feel like something that really happened even though you know it was just a dream or does it feel like something unreal like a normal dream?
It seems like when I remember my lucid dreams they feel like a dream memory.

I guess it would depend on how vivid my lucid dream was and/or how much control I had within the dream. If the lucid dream wasn't very vivid and I just went with the flow, it seems more like a dream memory (if I'm understanding your question correctly).

I've only had 2 lucid dreams. One was pretty high lucidity (but still less than a minute - I woke up exhilerated) and I could recall fairly clearly what happened, what I was thinking, etc. The other was relatively low lucidity where I lost my focus and fell back into dream mode. The 2nd felt more like a regular dream where I could recall some details, especially the point where I became lucid, but a lot was lost.

I agree with Clarity. it would depend on the vividness/awareness of the lucid dream. Personally for me , when I’m very much aware when I’m lucid it would be like a memory of actually being there. Though, if it a semi lucid dream i would assume to say it is more so like a dream memory.

My dream memory and my reality memory are the same...

(But then again I tend to only fully remember the vivid ones.)
