      Lightbulb Lucidity?

After recalling some of my nights dreams last night i "lay in Bed" for a while, closed my eyes then opened them to see a shining square on the wall, after looking at it for a while it occured to me that this shouldnt be happening to me and thought it was a dream.. normally i go along for the ride in a dream XD, i then could turn the light on and off by thinking about turning it on and off so i played with it a few times then it disappeared but where my hand was, then lay on my pillow... Lucidity?

Im new obv lol so any cmmnts welcomed xD

Yeah, that was Lucidity. Any time your aware that what your experiencing is a dream, you can consider yourself having become Lucid. One thing to note though, with being new, is that you don't want to confuse becoming Lucid, with having Control. Its possible to become Lucid, and have no control at all beyond what your normally capable of in Real Life.

But, it sounds like your on your way to experiencing much more than some simple light play, so keep at it, and you'll be keeping these dreams much longer and having much more fun.
