Thread: Can u die by shock

ive heard that if something shocking of scary happens in a LD u can die this has never happened to me obviously but i heard a person jumped of a building in and ld and almost died of shock what do u think

(btw all lucids ive have have been fun so yea...) = )

I don't understand. If the guy died, how would you know he was having a lucid dream, and even more specifically, jumped off a building??

i dun no its what i heard, not died i meant heart attack, like almost died

Bullshit, a man with a heart problem or with weak nerves can die in a dream, the heart just can't handle it and stops.

I read that wrong

I don't even have a clue how somebody could know, since a heart attack would be so sudden. It is not like in a autopsy you can identify what kind of dreams a person has had. It is not like somebody could live to tell the tale anyway. It would be completely theoretical then since you can't really "prove" it from what I know.

Death from increased heart rate leading to a heart attack from scary and/or sexy dreams seems HIGHLY plausible. If you had such a weak heart. However its the kind of thing that you couldn't disprove or prove.
