I'm So Pitiful

I'm such a loser... I just can't seem to make any progress w/LDing. Maybe I should just scream "IM DREAMING" randomly, all the time, so that I'll get used to it and do it in a dream... Cuz usually just saying "IM DREAMING" even though I'm not sure, will send me into my usual paralysis... then maybe I can figure out how to get out of paralysis and have an LD! Think it'll work?

How long have you been working at it? I'm past 2 weeks and so far I've achieved next to nil....in fact, I've been busy so for about the past week my dream journal has 1 entry. I'm gonna keep goin', tho. If I can keep going (and I'm not usually a very persistent person), you can! *raises glass* to us! -Amé

Yeah, how long have you been trying for? What techniques have you used? Any that made ya close?

WHen I started turning it on full gear, obsessing about it all the time, jsut a few weeks ago, Ive been having LD's every other day on average. (Not the last two nights though, rrrggh).Which is up form my having LD's every few months totally randomly. I think I do at least 10 RC's a day but usually at least 25, sometimes more. I do em all the time. And more importantly I do the WBTB every chance I get. If I wake up in the middle of the night, out of bed I go! Write my dreams down, stay up for 90 minutes, the back to bed, and almsot always have a lucid dream. Seriosuly, if I do the WBTB method right, its almost fool proof.

Gah, I don't like the WBTB method. lol Staying up so long is just so.. blaaah! I think I'm allergic to waking up in general. I start sneezing if I wake up and try to do WBTB.

Think it'll work? Lucid dreaming takes some bit of confidence in the sense of making yourself believe it is in fact possible, then to maintain it and progress when you do. Your words are very counter productive. Try to think more positive about Lucid dreaming and the fact that it will eventually come
