These are the tears that I dream about...
I know what you're talking about. I get the same kind of rush when I turn a corner and find something in a smoking ruin/some real big hairy insect - except it's not as "happy". |

God I love that feeling, you right about how it's still good, even if it only lasts a few secconds, like last night, I went lucid, flew around a bit, then lost it, but I've been in a good mood ever since. |

yeah i dont feel it as much now that my lucid dreaming isnt as hard to acheieve and since it happens every other night |
|
I love this feeling. |

Yeah i know what you mean. In my lucid dreams, there is usually always a point where I am truly lucid. Whenever I'm flying (or trying... to fly) it's usually no where near as cool as when I first become lucid. I realize that since I can't fly very much (and it isn't that exciting and i lose lucidity easier) I should just walk around and explore and stuff. I love it when I'm absoulutely lucid for a couple of seconds and I feel as if it were as clear as reality. If every moment of my lucid dreams were like this it would be insane (but the problem is once I realize how lucid i am I try to start flying and my confidence level is very low at flying because of how many times I failed). |

Its like the loading program from the Matrix; you need to realize its a dream, accept it, understand it, and ultimately enjoy it |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.

I know exactly what you mean, lowercase. The exact moment in which one realizes that this is just a construct of his mind, a completely different reality in which everything is possible. That moment is certainly ecstatic. That moment alone makes it all worth it.... |

If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
It's partly a feeling of accomplishment, but also an opening up of possibilities. It's not quite as intense for me as it used to be--I used to get so excited I'd just wake up, whereas now I try to spread that intesity out over the whole dream experience. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
