Possibly, I've had some pretty crazy ideas about screenplays in dreams, most are way out of my reach to film now though, but great ideas for everything from books to films can come from dreams.
Harry Potter may have been influenced from a dream, who knows.WILDs - 38
MILD/DILDs - 44
VILDs - 8
TILDs - 1 (Thirst Induced Lucid Dream, never going through that experience again...)

A famous book that has been influenced by a dream is "Frankinstien". Surrealism is also an art movement that seems to be very dreamy.
