      i think i dremt of lucid dreaming

      Well last night i just went to bed normally and everything but one time through the night i was at my old school and i thought "hey 2 mins ago i was in bed" so i just jumped to try and fly but then i woke up i think, then it happened i was at my old school again and then i just ran abnormally fast and tried 2 jump and fly but woke up and sure if i was actually lucid or just dreaming i was. any help would be good cause im just confused. Thanks.

      I think that the odds are that you were lucid dreaming because you probably wouldn't run and jump around expecting to fly if it was a regular dream...

      You sound like Yoda in the bolded section... Hehe...

      Sounds like an LD.

      Also, a further note on flying, I've always found jumping and actually flying seperate for me. If you can't get airborne from jumping, trying swimming through the air, or gliding like a bird. The swimming thing gets me flying everytime. Just some thoughts.

      Nightlife the yoda thing was a type but thanks for letting me know im starting on the road to greatness!

      Dash yeh i have been wondering about things if u can just think it to happen but will try thats when i can have a good long one thanks.

      Ninja9578 thats awesome to know so whenever it seems like im lucid i guess i am thanks.

      No problem - but here's the thing. I found that thinking your going to fly doesn't do it sometimes. As a poster said in another thread somewhere, when you move around in your dreams by walking, do you think that you're walking, or do you just do it? It's weird, and probably takes some work to get the hang of it. Only experienced LDers know how to do it well, and I'm not one of them.

      This is an interesting thread. I guess if you're dreaming of lucid dreaming, you're still lucid dreaming because your mind knows you're dreaming. It's a grey area.
