I had a lucid dream and had no idea what to do

I just about gave up on Lucid dreams because of lack of success, then I get this "We miss you Zakar!" email.

The funny part is that when I visited the site that day I fell asleep and had a lucid dream (after about 5 months of nothing), I was so caught off guard I had no idea what to do and wasted the moment =( I didn't know what to do and I had 100% lucidity! I layed there thinking, what should I do? *sigh*

Now I am interested in LDs again, hopefully I have more luck this round. For some ODD reason this forum seems to give me LDs sometimes, haha.

Nice seeing you all again, have fun dreaming!

      Congratulations!
I'm sure you will have more now that you've had one and are interested in pursuing them again

That a shame not knowing what to do, but no worries, you'll get it next time
A good idea would be to loosely plan out your lucids. Rehearse them in your mind before you go to sleep, this is what I do and it works well. It helps you remember what you wanted to do once your in the dream, and because you preplanned it you already have a goal in mind.
Alternatively, if you still can't think of what to do, you could just go with the dream. Start walking and just interact with whatever comes your way. You can have some great adventures that way.

Thinking about lucid dreams will give you lucid dreams. That's why I come here mostly before bed.

I have a list of things I want to do while lucid. It's a long list and I'm hoping a few of the items will remain in my thoughts as I dream. Maybe you should try the same.

Give the Lucid Tasks a read and you'll have at least two things to accomplish next time you're smack dab in the middle of a LD.

      This months lucid tasks are:
      ~Prove you are indestructable
~Bring an inanimate object to life

FLY! iv never done it yet, but i want to. and in the time being, all you have to do is cherish the lucidity. just remember: in an LD, you can do ANYTHING.
Do not try and bend the spoon--that's impossible. Instead only try and realize the truth...there is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends

      it is only yourself

Just became lucid again this morning, but it went bad again. Once I realized I was dreaming, all the DCs in my dream turned silent and stopped moving, then everything went black and I woke up. Now I have to wait a whole day to try again, and I was too tired to write in my DJ and forgot all my dreams again >_<. I give you guys credit for being able to jot down notes when you are half asleep!

Pretty much the same thing happened again, I became lucid and woke up a few moments later.

For some reason, I can't remember the techniques in my dream that I can remember while being awake - spinning, looking at hands, etc. It is almost like I have two separate memories, when I am dreaming I only remember dreams (even dreams from many years ago), when I am awake I only remember waking memories, is this odd? There seems to be a very thick line between my waking and dreaming memories.

I keep getting caught off guard using the DILD method, and it seems to be the only method I can do, since WILD usually creeps me out too much (I have a paralysis phobia due to a bad past experience).
