      Paint Your Lucid?

The other night there was a special
on the discovery channel, and it was something
about humans and "pushing the limits"
Well anyways, the last ten minutes of the show talked about lucid dreaming
and how a few famous people have used this to come up with great
inventions, etc. One of the people they talked about was an artist ( dont remember the name) but they said that she would become lucid in a dream
and walk into a dream art gallery, and find a dream picture she really liked.
She would then focus upon the painting, and touch it and feel the texture
and she would wake up remembering the painting. She would then recreate the painting herself.
Myself, I find that very interesting. That the mind can create unique and incredible works of art and we are able to tap into that creativity if we try.
But I was just wondering if anyone else has tried to recreate a peice of art they had seen in their dreams. I would like to give this a try.

I think there's a thread "Draw your Dreams" in the Artist's Corner.

None by me in there. I've done one or two for my journal, but not for are value, just to help describe it.

We had a lucid task once to draw a landscape picture (in a dream); that was fun.

      It's Salvador Dali!!!

He's one of my favorite painters.

I've been planning on doing this, but haven't done it yet. I also want to write music.

      You're lucky.

The music in my dreams, if at all, sounds like a electric bass guitar with tons of feedback smashing out notes in a repetitive pattern growing steadily louder and quickly losing any semblance of a melody or pattern.

Good idea, it could be a decent dreamsign.

Next time if it's on, hopefully I'll recognize it and go lucid.
