crazy nightmare about work!

Ok I had this dream and while it was not scary in anyway I still consider it a nightmare and you will see why in a second. I started out in this kitchen and I think it was for a small restaurant or something, and a bunch of old people came in and wanted food. I forget a lot of what happened at this point but for some reason I could only make like toast, and was only one toaster so was making two pieces of toast at a time for like 4 or 5 people. So I go into the kitchen to get more toast and then theres like 10-15 people there, and I am like rushing back and forth. At this point its really not much work at all. Next thing I know though everyone is gone, they all left money on the tables though so I walk out and start picking up all the money and stuffing it into my pocket. I get like half way through and more people start walking in. This time was like younger people. So while I am picking up the money I am also telling people where to sit down at. Then I have all the money but still a bunch of people keep comming in and sitting down and at this point there is like 10-15 people already and even though I got the money, I didn't clean any of the tables! So I start rushing to clean the tables and seat people then I remeber no one is cooking anything. So I go into the kitchen and I think about the toasts and am I like "This is not going to work". So I call this person to get some help but he wouldn't come. All the while more people are comming in so I rush back out to help the people. The place was small at the start of the dream but was no where near there now. There had to be like 50-60 people there and I was all alone running the place. So I am like pushing my way through a maze of people and I kept forgetting things because I am doing like 10 things at once. Then some people start messing with stuff so I have to go over to stop them, and they kind of like annoying and won't listen. Then I head back to the kitchen and some annoying guy follows me. Hes like complaining and stuff but he thinks hes really smart so starts giving me advice on how to better run the place and stuff. So I asked him if he knew how to cook and he was like confused and I was like "Well if you want to help me, cook something, or wait tables or do anything else at all." Of course that just made him leave. At that point I guess it was to much work because I woke up.

First group of people where a lot nicer too. I think most left like a dollar each but I noticed one person left a $60 bill, even though that wouldn't make any sense in real life still felt nice heh. One other really weird thing, I was female the entire time and this one group of guys sitting at this table was like trying to hit on me. That was when there was like 50+ people there though, so I totally ignored them and only saw them for like 2 seconds. I have to say it was one of the craziest dreams I have ever had. I think there was a boss there when I started too so I know I didn't own the place or anything so couldn't get away with messing stuff up. Wasn't scary but it was stressful so I am going to call it a nightmare.

That's crazy! I hate dreams about job, especially if it's busy or you have to work overtime... So you work in real life and in a dream, but without pay

No I am not a girl, and yea its a dream so can do whatever you want. Whats weird for a dream though is when your not even human heh. It isn't really that bad though since it was just a dream, to bad you can't wake up from your real job heh.

Never had a dream where I was a guy but I had a dream once that I was an ape. I lived in a tree house and had a family and everything. Past life??? Haha was like... very weird!

I hate dreams where everything gets outta control like that. *shudders* However whenever i have a dream about working, i will just sit around and dream at work the next day, its all about balance

I laughed so hard when said that you asked that guy to go and cook something instead of going around complaining.... It is just the last thing you would ever tell a customer... Too bad you didn't become lucid, you could have had some fun there....
