      Talking Going to Try it

Sorry for the overall useless post, but I felt it might bring me luck if I announced I'm going to try the Lucid Dream Technique for the very first time.

Wish me luck, and good night

      Question What just happened?

I was laying in bed attempting a WILD, when all of a sudden the feeling of my bed dissappeared, although the feeling of my face on the pillow stayed. I felt a light, non-painful throbbing in my head, a ringing in my ears, and my body went numb for a second. Not knowing what to do (I didn't read about this) I opened my left eye, got up and walked around, I was light-headed and nothing more. What just happened to me?

Sounds like SP to me. Aww you could have induced a LD from that!

Alright, I'm going to try it again, I was a bit scared because I've been watching horror movies, but now I know I'm in control, so I'll do exactly as I did before

      Unhappy Twitches

Same thing happened again, except I didn't get to the numb stage because my muscles started twitching, mainly right leg. Anyone know how to get rid of this?

      Sounds promising so far =)

You're probably long gone by now but remember to go back to the NG thread and tell them of your successes in the morning so we can educate the rest of those fools on the awesomeness here. =)

Unhappy Good, long SP, can't LD

As the Title suggests, I had a very strong, long lasting SP. But, I couldn't fall asleep, so I quit it after 20 minutes.

Also, as for the twitches, they were due to overexcitement on getting an SP (Which, by the feelings of it, I have actually done before without knowing the term) and here's a tip to calm you down:
You know how to cross your eyes? good.
When you get twitches, a good relaxation tip is to cross your eyes while they are closed, hold it for a few seconds and let go, then just leave your eyes alone, they will unwind and unfocus, giving you a feeling of relaxation all over your body.

By the way, is there such thing as a sound only LD? Because if so, I have had one, only one, LD in my life. I heard the screams of the souls in the hell of the damned.

The thing about your sound only LD where you heard screams sounds a bit weird. I don't know if there is such thing.
