Unhappy I had a lucid dream! But...

Yay I finally had a lucid dream again! I woke up after my non-lucid dream and realized I was awake, I closed my eyes and consciously entered my dream. But... there were a few problems... If you could somehow help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. It all happened last night.
First of all when i consciously entered my dream I immediately felt this incredible fear, like the dream was going to end up as a nightmare. I was lying in my bed, it was the middle of the night, there were some lights on, the dream was incredibly vivid, and even though I knew I was dreaming there was constantly something making me unsure of myself. I thought of doing some RCs but i just didn't know what to do... I was completely lost... The fear was just so intense I couldn't calm my self nor think of anything else. I could barely even move... So i woke up (this time I knew I was awake for sure, but the fear was still there) did some RCs, closed my eyes... and the same thing happened again... then on the 4th try i finally lost consciousness and woke up in the morning...
      So my question is:
Why exactly did i have this fear in the first place?
How can I beat this fear?

      Congratulations on your Lucid Dream!

Ok, lets compare your fear in the Lucid Dream to the fear you would feel is lets say, you were alone in a foreign country. Though they sound a lot different, they are very similar as being thrown in a completely new situation without any guidance what so ever. To over come said fear one must learn the language of the country, and grow accustomed to their culture.

Though you don't have to learn a spoken language for dreams, you really need to become used to consciousness in the dreamscape.

A good thing to remember is that even though you feel fear, theres absolutely nothing that can harm you, you are in complete control.

As for the not being able to move, its your first Lucid Dream, its going to be weird, but as time progresses, you'll become used to it, and dreams will seem like a physics free waking life.

Hope I was of some help.

Thanks for the help Vegan . Even though this is not my first lucid dream, I'm still having problems with calming myself and realizing it's all my world where I have complete control. I'll definitely try harder next time (I just hope I'll have another one soon ).

As for the banana pickle carrot thing, here's the link
