Maybe it wasn't real danish, but just words made up by your brain. I've often dreamed of having conversations in irish and french, despite not being fluent in them.It is kind of weird. |

A while back me and my friend had a competition to see who could learn as much danish as possible in 1 day using different methods, later that night I had a dream where a danish man came up to me and had a long drwan out conversation in danish with me, by that time i maybe knew 200 words and wasnt good at those ones at all. But the thing was when the man spoke to me I could understand him perfectly, not because I spoke danish, I just knew what information he was trying to get across, it was weird, anyone else had an experience similar to this one? |

In a dream I once had, I heard a few phrases in Esperanto. I'm pretty sure they were real, because I speak it quite well. It's just a shame that I didn't remember what they were for longer than 2 minutes afterwards. |

I, whenever I sleep in a room with someone else, am told, that I sleep talk in foreign languages, and occasionally talk in a different language (and remember) in a dream. |

Fyodor Dostoevsky Notes From the UndergroundA dream! What is a dream? And is not our life a dream?
It probably wasn't Danish he was speaking at all, or at least he wasn't saying what you understood him to mean. Likely your mind kind of filled in the blanks; you know what he meant because you were the one making it up. |
