      Question Is WBTB required for WILD?

      I'm confused about this. Can you go straight into a WILD when you go to bed at night, or do you have to sleep for 4-5 hours first??

      You have to sleep until you reach a REM cycle, the first one occurs after around 90 minutes of sleep. But, it's a good idea to have had some sleep, because it makes it easier to keep your consciousness as you enter the dream state. As you mentioned, 4-5 hours of sleep is recommended before trying a WILD, though some (like me) prefer to sleep for even longer.

      WBTB is not necessary to WILD, but it can make it easier.

      WILD= Wake induced lucid dream

      WBTB= Wake back to bed

      Both are techniques for inducing lucid dreams, these two are often used together. They are both explained in the Tutorial section.
