I only write them down in the morning, and I usually remember up to 3 dreams. It's true tho, that sometimes I wake up in the night, have a dream, and I forget what it was about in the morning. Usually remembering a keyword helps me to remember to whole dream, since I'm too lazy to stand up and write them down =p but then again, I think I'll start doing that, it's a good opportunity to try to go back to sleep WILDing. |

Tape recorders are a godsend! I can never see my ass getting up to write my dreams down when I'm dead tired much less at 2am. trust me and get one. they work great. I bought mine may 23th, and at that point I had NO recall. I was able to remember my first dream the 24th, and since june 2nd I'm now up to two a night! which is damn impressive to me considering I had no recall before this! |

A voice recorder is an awesome idea that I've considered and will most likely pursue. I myself call my sister and leave a voicemail or speak with her on the broad strokes of my dreams. This not only gives me a headstart until I can copy my dreams into a wordpad document or write down, but allows for a 3rd party to help me interpret them. I always welcome constructive criticism on all ideas and beliefs. My sister, whom is 8 years my junior, is among the most intelligent and wise people I know, often coming to conclusions and interpretations about my dreams and the symbolism within before or in a different manner than I do, which often helps me to interpret them. I don't know about you folks but the way I was raised, I take in many peoples opinions on a subject before coming to my own conclusions. Not only do I get an average consensus on what people think but it helps to have a 3rd party opinion on things. Imagine if a great historical figure such as Hitler, Stalin, or Richard the Lionhart, took in what other people thought about how life can be lived (peacefully with little to no harm to others done and maximum benefit to all). The world would be very different, possibly for the better, something which I for one strive for. The brothers in my fraterniy and my family have often remarked on my ability to impartially come to decisions on things that benefit all in this way. Am I rambling? Anyhow a recording is an awesome idea, I should do it myself. |

Everyone knows what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, however, few are familiar with the North Vegas slogan: What happens in North Vegas will haunt your dreams forever.
FoggyBlue I would try writing down your dreams the moment you wake up. If you get in the habit of doing this, you might be amazed at how much you remember. Unless you simply find the idea irrestible, I don't see any need to wake up in the middle of the night to remember your dreams. |
