So I was sleeping one night and the darndest thing happened. I was laying there and I think I woke up (Maybe a false awakening, but I dunno). I was laying there and I couldn't move. I could barely talk. There were these weird noises, and I felt like something horrible was in the room. I think I saw a swirling black foggy thing swirling near my fan. I tried to get up, but I was paralyzed. I tried to calal out to my Mom, but all I could do was do a little raspy whisper of "Mom.. mom!" It was terrifying. Was it Sleep Paralysis? Or just a bad dream? What do you think?

Or just a bad dream? What do you think? It is a constituent of sleep paralysis: Hypnopompia, or "Old hag" for the superstitious. Its just part of waking up experienced by some people. Its common and nothing to fret over.
