      Was i about to LD?

hey PLZ if anyone can answer this it will help alot. thanx.

Well i had a dream where i was at an old job, behind the cash register.
and i had a really wierd sensation, almost realization, and it was when i started thinking to myself (in my dream) " this cant, be right. I must be dreaming." But then BANG i woke up,i didn't even get to do a RC or anything, i just woke up....
was i Lucid for 1 sec? or was it just a normal dream... i havent had any LD's yet...im a begginer

Well, I'm not SURE... I had a dream like this before I had my first LD too. I was like "I will do a reality check every time I see something like that". As I was about to do a reality check, I woke up. If you felt like you really realized that you might have been dreaming, than yes, probably.

what you experienced was really cool. I had similar dreams and also woke up. But it is very good, cause you can relax and fall back into sleep while being aware. It will result in WILD.

Yep - definitely a lucid dream. But like you said, for only a second
You need to try keep calm, and if you wake up, go back to sleep and try again. Its much easier after that

Also.. if the dream is changing (but you arent waking up)... then its a good idea to keep saying to yourself 'Im dreaming, Im dreaming'
Keeps you thinking of it - in the next dream you should still have it on your mind
