"Exploring the world of lucid dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge is an excellent LD book. The book describes techniques for becoming lucid and also how to stay lucid and exert dream control. It also outlines how to use dreams to problem solve and eliminate nightmares.
I like to think of it as the LD Bible.

you can DL that book off most p2p programs
there are a couple more texts on lucid dreaming, for example "do_obe" (or do_oobe) ebook
