Question Odd change of Recall, and the most annoying thing in the world

First, the most annoying thing for your pleasure and ammusment. In nonLD last night, I am lying in bed with a friend, talking about what's going on in out lives, and I tell her what I'm really thinking about alot right now is Lucid Dreaming, and I even go so far as to lie to her that I've been having them (going into a specific location that I intend to visit when I actually go Lucid), even though I know its a lie in the friggin dream.

      Doh!

Oh well I guess its positive. back to the old RC's

The main thust of this post has been my Recall though. Since starting taken account of my dreams again about three weeks ago, my recall has thankfully shot through the roof, with several dream episodes most nights. But the last couple of days something interesting has happened. Instead of remembering on waking up (with the ususal lying still and eye movement exercises), I get a little, but a lot of it has been coming back to me at a delayed rate, like

when I go to the bath room
when i get up and shower
when i've just written all my notes, and am almost back to sleep

which suits me down to the ground, as I'd rather write five minutes after waking than immediatly after. But the detail has increased as well - i ususally write bullit points downs and write it up when I'm more awake in the morining, but the little slips of paper I use for the points are no longer big enough.

I just find it weird that as my Recall improves it gets delayed slightly. Anyone else experiance this? course it's possible that my recall just got better, and I got more lazy, so that if I tried harder on waking I'd get even more. But it doesn't really feel like that, just delayed as I said.

      thanks for reading

Just this morning, as soon as I woke i could recall most of one dream, but no others, and after I'd written it down, I remembered another I'd had the same night.

I don't think laziness or motivation cause the delay. I had pretty strong recall this morning. I let myself remember it slowly and carefully. Often when I strain to recall my dreams I'm left with totally different scenarios, which are probably composed of different dreams, but don't really know if they are parts of different dreams or if they're all one dream that I've forgotten how they were connected.

It happens every once in a while. I have had a week where my recall came to me while I was brushing my teeth or taking a shower that morning. Most of the time I down write those down and I forget about them :*(
