Question An Important Inquisitive Question lol

      As you all know,

Non-LDs are already relatively realistic as we mix "our imagination" as well as "our memory of how we perceive reality" in our dreams.

Now we actually know we are dreaming and imagining all those things we encounter in a LD; so I'm wondering; why are LDs more realistic than Non-LDs, and why particular induction methods make them more realistic than others?

      Please feed me back lol

Great question! This is something I've wondered myself many times. I suspect it has something to do with our conscious (logical) mind being more active, but I don't really know. I'll do some research on the interwebs and see what I come up with. Give me a while, I've been super busy...

Hmmm, I'll have a metaphorical whack at this question, I think its because...

Probably since you're logically thinking about the dream-scape, it'll probably be more detailed as you may be looking around at your LD and thinking how realistic it all looks, thus making it look realistic...

And as to why some induction methods make the dream more realistic is probably because you're actually paying attention to being 'pulled' into the dream-scape(WILDing, and similar methods) so your attention may be drawn to the dream-scape more then it is drawn to the fact that you're in a lucid dream(DILDing).
DILDing is an example because you've been randomly 'thrown in' to the LD rather then created it/been in it from the start...

well I hope my ramblings have helped answer your question in some way.

      Thank you guys.

I think we are getting somewhere; but I doubt if this and the nature of LD can be understood totally in our lifetime.
