Weird Dream

I went to bed and I usually try to practice WILD, but during the day I just was planning to sleep regularly and when I went to sleep I had a dream, I'm not sure after how long of sleeping I had the dream. But after the dream a couple minutes later or something I started seeing a mixed color of orange and some other colors and it felt like I was flying or something, I just felt myself zooming through the colors (1st person) and I kept thinking to myself about something, then it started to fade to black and I just saw black, my eyelids. As it started fading I just kept telling myself "I am dreaming, I am dreaming.." and the color and everything just came back it felt like I went back into it and just was flying. Then everything stopped and what seemed to be 30 seconds later, it happened again. I started flying past the colors and I screamed "I.... AM... DREAMINGGG!" it felt like I was awake but asleep and , I actually felt my neck titled or something and I believe I was trying to imagine a scenario so I could have a lucid but it didn't work and I awoke. Can anyone explain what that was?

This sounds like one of two things to me. Either it was HI (hypnagogic imagry) or it was probably a short dream, maybe even a non-REM dream. The difference is if you were actually awake. What do you think?
