      odd experience. answers needed.

I rarely post in the LDing section of DV. I enjoy reading the posts but since i don't really Lucid dream, i keep most of my own posts restricted to "the lounge" and it's sub-forums.

but the past couple of days i've had a some odd experiences and i was wondering if the

i might add that recently i did some limited experimentation with sleep deprivation a couple of days before this happened.

#1 i'm dreaming that my teeth are falling out and this is one of my dream signs. i realize that my teeth are falling out and that this was very unlikely to happen in real life. it felt EXACTLY like what it feels like when you pull a loose tooth out. and it was so real but it was as if i was waking up while it was happening. i thought i was dreaming when it happened but now i don't know if i was just out of it from being in a really groggy state. as i was waking up the feeling reversed. i literally felt my tooth come back into place...

      What do you think happened?

#2 i'm pretty sure i was dreaming about sleep paralysis. but i'm not sure. has anyone ever experienced sp in a way where they weren't sure whether or not they were dreaming? there was none of the incubus kind of stuff. no strange beings or feelings. i just couldn't move.

      so yeah.
      thanks for your time.

If you couldn't move then I guess it was SP. There is a thin line between the waking and dream states in the hypnagogic state. It is the border after all. I'd just say you were waking up experiencing SP and hypnagogic hallucinations along the way.

Sometimes feelings, even in non-lucids, can be extremely vivid. For me, it happened when me and a bunch of people were lying prone on the floor, when the bad guy from 'Saw' came over to us.

I knew he was going to pick one of us for his 'games', so I tried to keep as still as possible. Then I felt his finger on my back, and I woke up, but I swear, after I woke up, I had that feeling you get after something touches you and you can still feel where it touched you.

It was the freakiest thing ever.
