well, when i dream about people playing guitar (included yours truthfully) i always find cool sounding stuff to try in the morning
its a shame i almost always forget most of the music i dreamed of
      Cipreses, agua estancada
      Chopos, agua cristalina
      Mimbre, agua profunda

well, it doesnt makes me awful good nxt mornin, but sometimes i can remember enough of the music in my dreams to make a really cool riff or tune. A couple of my best riffs come from dream music, even if they only resemble a bit the incredible tunes from my dream state

Once, in a non-lucid dream I found myself practicing/reciting a speech I had for English class in school the next day. It was about lucid dreaming!

Needless to say, it went great. But hell, it was probably just me.

Other than that, then, no, I haven't really practiced anything in my dreams before. I suppose there have been a few scattered dream fragments that have probably improved my skills in real life in some small bits or another. It's really hard to say; I can't attribute anything, positively, to dream rehearsel.

hMmmm! I got really interested today after my lucid music reply and decided to read the entire article I referenced there:

      http://www.centerpointe.com/index.php?page..._page=research1
Slower still are theta waves, between 4 and 7.9 Hz. This is the state of dreaming sleep and also of increased creativity, super-learning, integrative experiences, and increased memory. The slowest brain wave pattern is delta, that of dreamless sleep, below 4 Hz. Generally people are asleep in delta, but there is evidence that it is possible to remain alert in this state—a very deep trance-like, non-physical state. It is in delta that our brains are triggered to release large quantities of healing growth hormone (12).[/b]
It's really an interesting article...holosync is entering the realm of scary science imo. It's cool with me though since they're using it for the benifit of society. But it mostly scares me because i've had dreams about being a mad scientist

regalecus: I bet if you trained or forced your self to wake up right away after your LDs you'd remember the music alot better.
