      Nothings happening...

      Hi.

I've been trying to have LD for a while now...Doing the "reality checks", and trying to keep note of my dreams, but so far I still have no control.
I try to pay attention to what I'm dreaming, while I'm dreaming, but it's still just the same 'ol out of control crazy no nonsence dreams. Infact, it seems as thought I'm not remembering too many of my dreams lately.

      Any thoughts?

      Thank you.

      Don't get discouraged!!

Sometimes it takes a little time (Right Shawndow ? )
Just keep at it. It will be more than worth the effort!

I look forward to seeing you post about your first LD soon!
      Be sure, It will happen!

Don't give up. Try WILDs. Wake up in the morning, stay awake for 30 minutes telling yourself to have a lucid dream, and then reenter REM sleep. You can sometimes enter a dream from waking conciousness, especially if you rehearse a familiar scenario,

      LOL...sounds like me.

Don't fret man, i was just like you a couple weeks ago. I was saying fuk it to LD cause i was trying for months and geeting lilltle results.

So some 1 here told me to take a break. And thats exacly what i did. I gave up for a few days and each time before i went to bed all i told myself was "I will realizing im dreaming tonight".

And BAM that did the trick.

I had the most relistic and wonderful LD i'v ever had. Trust me take a break, just dont quit trying. You still got the rest of your life ahead of you. (lol) at least put a lil effort into it.

Even without coming to these boards you can get to LD in time. For me it took many years. Many years of remembering dreams more and more often. After that I started having many times when I knew it was a dream but had no control. Eventually I could control a minor thing here or there. Funny thing is, is that lucid dreams jumped up to 100% of the time I try soon after I came here. Read everything you can. They should help. Never give up. And don't forget it takes time. There are steps to take.

Wow!! Thank you, everybody!! I think I will take a break, and try again in a couple of days. Maybe I'm trying too hard (?).

You people seem really cool! Thanks for all the advise/ support...I'll let you know what happens.

      Take care, all.

      P.S...urFAVcookie

As far as my "reality checks", I'm looking at text...then look away, and look again to see if it reads the same. Then I will look at a clock, and look away and see if the time is the same.

As far as how many dreams? I'm not really sure...Maybe one, or two (that I vaguely remember).
