      Couple of queries

I was wondering why I get really dizzy/blurry vision sometimes in my lucid dreams, and if anyone else gets this? I don't get it too frequently, but enough for me to be slightly concerned and frustrated.

I became lucid a couple of nights back and looked at my hand (my mandatory RC). The strange thing was that the more I looked at my hand, the more it felt like my brain was being pulled out through my ears. I can't really describe the sensation. My head becomes really heavy, my vision blurs as if wearing a particularly strong pair of glasses not suited for my eyes, and I feel like I'm going to wake up, but I never do. I usually lose lucidity when this happens, though.

Also, after flying when lucid I end up losing my momentum and can feel lucidity slipping away with the momentum. I tend to land in increasingly weird looking areas, and usually find myself face to face with a strange darkness that gives off a really malevolent vibe (the doorway to a dark house, the opening of a pitch black forest - stuff like that). It's as if I know I'm going to have a nightmare if I continue down there. I always wake myself up before getting too close, and I've tried turning around and going somewhere else, but that wakes me up too.

Any ideas, or anyone get something similar? Bit of a hefty post, but I hope someone can bring some clarity to this for me.

      Cheers.

      1. I just answered this in another topic. What you need to do is focus on the dream. If you are having trouble seeing it means that you are losing the dream. Don't let that happen!

      2. Don't focus so much on only one thing. Look at your hands then look at something in the distance then look back at your hands. Your mind uses all it's energy on your hands and ignores everything else.

      3. I have something similar that happens to me often. Instead of darkness I find a powerful magnetism pushing me away. I usually try going into it to see what happens, but that might be the reason my recall has been so bad the last few months. When in doubt, do something random!
