Not sure if what I experienced was lucid

I had a dream experience a few weeks ago, which I think might have been lucid. I was lying in my bed asleep, when suddenly, I began to feel fear creeping over me. At this point in the dream, I was aware my heart rate had increased and was thinking some presence was coming towards my patio doors. my bed is positioned in a recess, ie. a wardrobe each side. The patio doors are along side my bed, so if I needed to get a complete view of the patio doors, I would have to sit up and peer round the corner of my wardrobe so to speak. Anyway in this dream I found myself sitting up and peering round the wardrobe, on doing so, I noticed a slight movement of the curtains as if the doors were open and there was a slight breeze, I also notice a dark figure, incidently I have a plant in front of the doors inside the bedroom. This plant stands at about 1.5 feet, the dark image I noticed was slightly smaller. During the night when the curtains are closed the plant resides behind the curtain, however, in this instance (the dream) the plant was visibly in front of the curtain and this dark image was behind the curtain beside it. then I just fell back on the bed and went back to sleep. weird.

If you are aware that you are dreaming, then it IS lucid. It may not be one where you have full control, but self-awareness inside a dream makes it lucid.
