OK, let me preface this with a little background.
This morning I woke up about 6 hours naturally after I fell asleep (been doing that lately and have no clue why). Deciding to seize the opportunity, I decided to try for my first WILD.
So I laid in bed and soon felt my entire body stiffen, heard whistling, my eyes twitched rapidly, felt what seemed like little electrical shocks near the bridge of my nose, and POOF.. I saw before me a map of the world! Clear as day, I was able to read all the cities and countries on this huge map that lay right in front of me. It was absolutely amazing!
So, not trying to blow it, I kept saying to myself, "I will dream, I will dream, I will dream." And soon there was blackness.
So, after reading several tutorials, I tried to imagine stuff to happen. Nothing worked. So I thought, "Well maybe I just need to open my eyes. I may be sleeping in my dream." But my eyes would only open half way, and by the time I got them fully open I was back up and awake in the real world.
I'm really disappointed and was wondering if I jumped the gun too early and what to do differently next time. BTW, I have lucid dreamed once before.
Also, does the WILD experience always seem so hazy to you? Like I knew I experienced it but I kinda remember it like a dream rather than a real experience. Anyone know what I mean?
