Isn't it no matter what others think about ya? i do this whenever i want, and when they ask me: "are you crazy?!" i tell them y not, if they believe it or not. LD is proven!
Yea I mean I know for a fact it is real, even without scientific proof, because I've experienced it. People thought Christopher Columbus was crazy. And there are still people to this day who think the Earth is flat (flat earth society). It must suck to be afraid to take a cruise ship across the ocean, but the rest of us can have all the fun soaking up the sun ;)
Everyone has a crazy side in them :P

I met a person today very interested in LDing. It was exciting to randomly bring it up in public and literally have the person next to me say, "ARE YOU A LUCID DREAMER?!?!" :boogie: We had to put up with the skepticism of the others but, screw them. At least we don't spend half our lives asleep!

Bring it up, or talk to you about it? You'd be surprised what peoples' reactions are. It was an amazingly positive experience. My psych prof was actually standing there telling me LDing isn't really a conscious experience and is pretty rare, and I tried to tell her that it is conscious and not rare at all until she admitted she'd never had one so really couldn't say. Agreed! Normalcy sucks!!! I asked my science teacher today if she had heard of it, as I wanted to see if it was better known in the scientific community. She didn't, and I didn't tell her what it was. As I didn't have the time. But I told her to google it, I'll ask her what she thinks tomorrow...

Me too. At least for the most part. I've gotten 2 people intersted in it, but that was a while ago and neither of them will keep a dream journal no matter what I say, so they've both been pretty unsuccessful.
My aunt seems interested..... She belives everything that is.
